I have to say that on first glance I did not think BCC. Interesting pattern, but classic. Retraction artifact and peripheral palisading make it.

My first thought was some weird adnexal tumor or maybe Merkel. BCC can have so many different looks. This one is classic though. I recently saw a very pale staining one that really resembled a melanoma.
