Monster cells - very cool. The technical term is Monster cell? I wonder what causes a monster cell? Wouldn't want to go down a malignant path on this I suppose.

But MORE importantly, Iago is now 2 away from being the most prolific contributor to PathologyPics - I better pull out my camera and dust off my scope and get back to it.

You cant go down the tubes here. DF's (at least their less common variants) have more cellular variation/atypia than DFSP (except for high grade sarcomatous transformation in a DFSP). In fact, the cells that make up DF (factor XIIIa positive) and those making up DFSP (CD34 positive) may be totally different. Monster cell is the technical term, but the prognosis, as well as the clinical features of this variant, are identical to conventional DF. I'll have comfortable lead in "pics posted" by the start of next week.
