Nice Image - I have arrowed some regions that show the cribiform architecture and loss of nuclear polarity that is diagnostics for high grade dysplasia (arrows 1 and 2). I have also arrowed a little region of the type of "dirty" necrosis that is commonly seen in invasive adenoCA of the colon. So, when does this become carcinoma in situ or just adenocarcinoma (a question for our new residents...)?

Also - we are getting numerous requests now for KRAS mutation analysis in individuals with metastatic colon cancer - I wonder what that is all about? [Ref #1]
