This tumor has a "quasi-correlate" in the Nasopharynx. There is an uncommon, indolent adenocarcinoma known as a Low-grade Nasopharyngeal Papillary Adenocarcinoma that can occur anywhere in the nasopharynx. It must be differentiated from metastatic PTC.
