Pointer #1 - Traditional appearing basal cell carcinoma (note the palasading nuclei and clefting between the neoplastic basal cells and surrounding stroma. Pointer #2 - Clear cell features. Without the classic histology nextdoor, this might be a tough call (you can't call it if you are not thinking about it).

I agree. Without the classic BCC component in the biposy, I'd be thinking along the lines of a sebaceous process.

Found a reference that is helpful in describing the etiology and charcteristics of the clear cell variant of BCC. [Ref #1] (also testing out the new reference mechanic)
