Hmmm. Nice picture Looks like macrophages. That makes me think of MAI or Whipple's Disease. Other possibilities: xanthoma, granular cell tumor, metastatic renal cell carcinoma... Can't think of anything else right now. Hope everyone is having a good day

I do wish PathDoc15 would quit being so paranoid about people crashing his site that he would allow punctuation marks other than periods. Sure would make the conversations more interesting.... :)

Excellent - Thanks. I'll probably leave it in the consults in case anyone else wants to take a crack at it. Top on my differential were MAI and Whipple's. If the TBC is negative, what would be the appropriate stain for Whipple organisms?

And now that you've outed the mysterious PathDoc15... What are you talking about, punctuation? Perhaps Exclamation MARKS

Yep, Exclamation marks... Sorry, and KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN

Finally got around to updating this one. In the end, MAI. Great differential though.

Howdy Kyouens - I'll dig it up.

Also on the differential for this look, according to something I read: Chronic mineral oil ingestion.
